I'm Kirbs, welcome! I’m a momtographer turned photographer. My family and I live on the traditional territory of the Hul'q'umi'num people, we are so grateful to call this beautiful land in the Cowichan Valley home.

Time is fleeting, and it can often feel like it passes by in the blink of an eye. As we go about our busy lives, it's easy to forget how quickly our children are growing and changing. That's why family photos are so important. They capture a moment in time, freezing it forever so that we can look back and remember the people and experiences that have shaped our lives. Family photos allow us to see how much we've grown and changed, and they remind us of the love and connection we share with our loved ones. In the end, family photos are a priceless gift that we can treasure for years and generations.

I've had an interest in photography for many years, starting with film photography in high school. After many years away from photography, capturing my own children were the reason I picked up a camera again. The years pass so quickly and I realized how I wanted to capture high quality, artistic images that captured emotion of our day to day lives.

My goal is to capture the beauty of life; whether it’s a routine day inside your home, special celebration, running around outside in nature, capturing the connection between multi- generations, or any other idea you can throw at me. I love to work with families to help them create memories that will last a lifetime.

I have a modern and relaxed style of photography that will make your memories stand out. I strive to make every photo session a fun and enjoyable experience. I'm weird and silly and aim to make your session as minimally awkward as possible. I always strive to make sure my clients are happy.
